Thomas Ulsrud

Thomas Ulsrud (born October 21, 1971 in Oslo) is a Norwegian curler.

In his second World Junior Curling Championships, Ulsrud skipped Norway to a bronze medal in 1988. In 1997, he curled in his first European Curling Championships where his team finished in seventh. He returned in 2000, 2002 and 2003- winning bronze in 2002. In 1998 Ulsrud curled in his first World Curling Championships where he skipped Norway to a 5th place finish. He returned in 1999 as an alternate for Pål Trulsen and finished in 5th place again. At the 2006 World Men's Curling Championship, Ulsrud made the playoffs for the first time, and defeated team USA to win the Bronze medal. Ulsrud failed to make the playoffs in 2007, but returned at the 2008 World Men's Curling Championship, where he defeated China to win the bronze medal.
