Thomas Michael Greenhow

Thomas Michael Greenhow was born on 5 July 1792 in Leeds, Yorkshire, England. A medical doctor by profession, he married Elizabeth Martineau, daughter of Thomas Martineau and Elizabeth Rankin and sister of the writer Harriet Martineau. He performed much of his doctoring in Newcastle, England. He died in Leeds on 25 October 1881.
