Thomas Hounsfield

Thomas Hounsfield (April 29, 1910February 8, 1994) was an English cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman who played first-class for Derbyshire between 1938 and 1939.

Hounsfield made his County Championship debut in July 1938, though he scored a duck in his debut innings. He represented Derbyshire during a tour by a West Indies cricket team in 1939, and represented Derbyshire for the last time in the 1939 season, as Derbyshire finished the County Championship in mid-table.

At the end of the Second World War, he made several appearances in miscellaneous matches while the County Championship was still not being contested. Hounsfield was a lower-order batsman for the Derbyshire side, with one half-century to his name.

He died in 1994 in Richmond, North Yorkshire.
