Thomas F. Gallagher

Thomas F. Gallagher (b. November 24, 1897, Faribault, Minnesota - d. March 3, 1985) was a Justice of the Minnesota Supreme Court from 1943 until his retirement in 1967.

He attended St. Thomas Academy, Mendota Heights, Minnesota (1912-1914) but graduated from Faribault High School in 1915 (it is not clear why he left St. Thomas). He earned his B.A. in 1919 and his LL.B in 1921, both from the University of Minnesota.

He practiced law in Minneapolis from 1921 until 1942. He was elected as an Associate Justice of the Minnesota Supreme Court in 1943, and re-elected thereafter until his retirement in 1967.
