Thomas Clayton (born April 26, 1984 in Alexandria, Virginia) is an American football running back for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League. He was originally drafted by the 49ers in the sixth round of the 2007 NFL Draft. He played college football at Kansas State after transferring from Florida State University. After high school, Clayton participated in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl in 2002.
