Thomas Burke (1749, DublinDecember 31, 1815, London) was an Irish engraver and painter.

Burke first trained in the Dublin Society's Schools under Robert West, later moving to London in 1770 where he studied mezzotint under John Dixon. Most of Burke's mezzotints were engraved after Angelica Kauffman for William Wynne Ryland, who would teach him the stipple-engraving technique. Burke preferred to work for publishers and seldom issued prints himself, the engravings typically featured subject pictures.[1]
