Thomas Bosc
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Thomas Bosc (born August 5, 1983 in France) is a rugby league player for the Les Catalans club in the European Super League competition. He was the club's top points scorer in the 2007 season and has represented his country on several occasions.
After coming through the ranks at French Elite Championship side UTC (the senior squad of which was later to form the Catalan Dragons) he was part of the 2006 squad for the Perpignan-based outfit's first season in Super League. He spent most of 2006 as a fringe player, occasionally called upon to play at full-back. In 2007, with the arrival of Clint Greenshields, he was switched to the wing and enjoyed a successful campaign, albeit one curtailed by injury. With the retirement of Stacey Jones, Bosc was handed the opportunity to fill his considerable gap in the halves for the 2008 season, a task he has so far managed with aplomb, so much so that he has attracted the attention of France's big spending rugby union sides.
