Thomas Bolling Robertson is a career U.S. foreign service officer and ambassador. He is the current U.S. Ambassador to Slovenia. President George W. Bush nominated Robertson as U.S. Ambassador to Slovenia on February 6, 2004. The U.S. Senate confirmed his nomination on May 6, 2004, and he was sworn in by Secretary Powell as Ambassador on September 16, 2004.
