Thomas Sydney Battersby (born November 18, 1887, date of death unknown) was a British freestyle swimmer who competed in the 1908 Summer Olympics and 1912 Summer Olympics.
In the 1908 Olympics he reached to the semifinals in the 400 metre freestyle and won a silver medal in the 1500 metre freestyle.
Four years later he reached to the semifinals in the 400 metre freestyle and 1500 metre freestyle. He was also a member of British 4x200 metre relay team, which won a bronze medal.
