[edit] 1st attempt

This band is pretty notable.
Very hyped up by the NME, a nomination for the best band in Sweden, frequent play on MTV2, etc...
There are far less notable bands that have articles on wikipedia.
Additionally I must attack the way the tag was added- within seconds of the page's creation. There's no way the band's notability could have been checked in that time. --Josquius (talk) 14:26, 29 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] 2nd attempt

They meet the following:

1: That I've seen at the very least they've been in NME a fair few times including one big feature. They've also been featured on a lot of online sources.
4: They've definatly done that. Just look to their myspace, all their upcoming gigs are abroad.
7: Debatable here but IMO they're one of the more well known current Swedish bands.
8: The MTV Europe awards nomination. That's quite a big deal
11: Not on the radio that I know of but they are on regular rotation on MTV2. Surely that is covered by that too?

I must state that- yeah they aren't the most well known band in the world.
Compared to many bands with articles on wikipedia however they are The Beatles. (i.e. These)--Josquius (talk) 22:04, 29 December 2007 (UTC)

Here's some links a quick google search brings up:

Some of those are pretty big (i.e. the guardian).

Is it the comment that they're still in school which brings people to mind of kids adding their own band to wikipedia here?--Josquius (talk) 22:12, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
