Talk:Thorson's rule
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This page is wrong. The initial Mileikovsky reference puts it as "decrease in numbers of species possessing pelagic development from the Equator towards the Poles, *and from shallow-shelf waters to greater oceanic depths*" (my emphasis) - Yes, the current opinion of what actually is going on is different, but that's not Thorson's rule as defined in that paper! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Will.pearse (talk • contribs) 14:59, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
I reformatted the references , but I could not figure out how to avoid listing a reference more than once in the references list if it appears more than once in the text. Thus, Rohde 1985 appears three times as 3, 8 and 9, and Mileikovsky twice, as 1 and 7. How can I avoid this?
