[edit] anyone know?

anyone know the story about the train tracks that run through thompson? They were abandoned and removed, but why?--Nytemunkey 00:42, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
Hey, I saw them for sale a while ago, maybe there were no buyers. It was the providence-worcester railroad and was posted for sale in Thompson. Most railroad tracks there were fairly unused though I did see some traffic on the one near the high school.
