[edit] Character links

Please note that simply putting the character's name into square brackets (ie. "Thomas") is not sufficient, and will not link to the corect page. I've taken the time to show how to link to all characters below:

 • THOMAS: Thomas
 • EDWARD: Edward
 • HENRY: Henry
 • GORDON: Gordon
 • JAMES: James
 • PERCY: Percy
 • TOBY: Toby
 • DUCK: Duck
 • DONALD: Donald
 • DOUGLAS: Douglas
 • DONALD & DOUGLAS (both): Donald and Douglas
 • EMILY: Emily

ALL OTHER ENGINES: <name>. NOTE: this includes Narrow Gauge engines!

eg. SKARLOEY: Skarloey

 • THE FAT CONTROLLER: The Fat Controller
 • BERTIE: Bertie
 • TERENCE: Terence
 • TREVOR: Trevor
 • HAROLD: Harold

ALL OTHER CHARACTERS: link to any of the other TV Series character pages (ie. Rolling stock (Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends), Non-rail vehicles (Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends), Minor Characters (Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends), etc).

eg. ELIZABETH: Elizabeth

Please follow this format when adding characters to episode descriptions.

[edit] Superfluous edits

This page has been regularly edited recently by unregistered user(s) who seem to want their comments kept, despite the fact that they are superfluous or even false. Some notes on this are below.

 • This article relates to the twenty-six episodes of the season only. As such, music videos or deleted scenes do not form a part of the season. Any characters appearing in music videos or deleted scenes cannot be considered to have appeared in the season, unless they have also appeared in an episode.
 • Being absent for a season does not constitute a "final appearance". Significant absences, including final appearances, have been acknowledged already, and so do not need to be changed.
 • Insignificant characters do not need acknowledgement. As it is, minor characters are noted in the "introduced/featured characters" section. Rolling Stock Introduced is a section I'm not entirely happy with, but will leave in the article. Having said that, in the individual episode outlines, there is no need to acknowledge minor characters such as "the red balloon".
 • Wikipedia is essentially an encyclopedia. This article is not the place to publish your thoughts on superfluous aspects of the series (eg. "goofs", "third time Emily pulls Express coaches").
 • One final thing... The correct spelling is "appearance".

Thanks, and happy Wiki'ing :) Gonzerelli 14:03, 29 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Last Appearances (thus far)

Several times over the last few weeks, unregistered users have consistently edited notes such as Last appearance of <character> (thus far) by adding a date to the end of the particular note. Given that these dates are from future seasons, they cannot be confirmed and as such will continue to be reverted. Thehalford 03:04, 14 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Question

I know that one of the Scottish twins appears in Horrid Lorry, but from my video recording it isn't clear which one (in the flashback of one of the lorries breaking down). Do the gurus know any way that this unclarity could be noted / Should it be noted? Starkiller 12:48, 16 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] A Surpise for Percy

Where do you see Thomas and Annie and Clarabel in Surpises for Percy?C.bonnick 11:34, 18 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Snow

This line In the US version, the runaway theme is heard, in the UK version, the runaway theme isn't heard bugs me. May I changed to In the US version, the runaway theme is heard but in the UK version, it isn't? Zeldabalooney2006 01:04, 24 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Oh no

Someone put the air date next to the episode titles. Can someone fix that mistake? TobytheTramEngine 16:35, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

Never mind! An IP address fixed it. TobytheTramEngine 19:26, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] James painted orange

Are you sure James was painted orange from James and the Trouble with Trees to the end of this season? This might be due to the color only used for this season. TobytheTramEngine 17:50, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] The Fat Controller's Holiday

Are any of you sure The Fat Controller's Holiday is a real UK title to Sir Topham Hatt's Holiday? I removed but I was afraid someone would revert it. TobytheTramEngine (talk) 16:14, 28 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Rusty and the Boulder

Rusty and the Boulder is a parody of Raiders of the Lost Ark, and should be written on the article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.28.23.41 (talk) 12:12, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
