There's something wrong with the connection between this biography and the Twinings Tea company article. Dates don't match. Brian A Schmidt 01:54, 30 December 2006 (UTC)

Also, he is known to have visited the Taj Mahal in Agra, India in 1794 and hired armed guards from the Taj Ganji (market to the south of the complex) for his visit to Delhi. --Joopercoopers 02:36, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Father or Son?

I am reading a box of Twinings Earl Grey tea. It says "In 1706 Thomas Twining started selling fine teas in England." So, who was the tea merchant? Thomas, or Daniel? Who has got it wrong? the Twinings company in 2007, or Britannica in 1911? Or is there more than one Thomas Twining? mike40033 (talk) 04:11, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
