I tried to polish up the text, but much more content is needed. Thomson was involved in the early spread of Dalton's atomic theory, if I recall correctly. Perhaps someone can research this and add it to the article. As it now reads, there's not much there to justify Thomson being in Wikipedia. - Astrochemist 23:03, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
