[edit] Accreditation citations in biographical articles

I certainly have no sympathy for unaccredited, religious schools, but Rossnixon suggested, I believe, that the accreditation status of an institution claimed or cited as included in the educational experience of a biographical article can be obtained by reading the linked-to article. I think that's a good point and I agree. It doesn't seem useful and, indeed, it seems to clutter articles, if we list every unaccredited institution as such in articles about evangelicals. Christians, especially, have created some sort of cottage industry when it comes to creating unaccredited religious schools that are really just degree mills of some sort. The more I read these articles at Wikipedia, the more convinced I am that making a point of this issue over and over again is completely unnecessary, especially when we can go to the institution's page at Wikipedia and read that for ourselves. - Nascentatheist 04:29, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
