I came across a book by Thomas Dick in the San Jose State University library; and, since it appeared to be very old, read parts of it. I found it to be very illuminating; and, so, I looked up his biography in a one-hundred-year-old reference book of Scottish/Irish/English personalities. It seemed to me that this fellow deserves to be remembered. Therefore, I wrote this article and linked it in to appropriate places in other articles.
