I don't think that the Star Fleet Universe should be referenced in the main body this article.
We should limit the content to canon material and list any additional info at the very end. For example, we wouldn't want to feature the Next Generation comics where Tholians appeared as crystals with arms and legs, would we? --StAkAr Karnak 12:18, 3 Oct 2004 (UTC)

This is an article about a fictional race, but even then, shouldn't there be sources cited? (In fact, in a way it becomes even more important, as casual readers can't know the "truth" about this fictional race.)
