This Side Of The Truth is an upcoming American fantasy-comedy directed by Ricky Gervais and Matthew Robinson and starring Ricky Gervais. It is currently in pre-production and set to be released sometime in 2009 [1]

In the fantasy setting of "This Side Of The Truth," Mark (Ricky Gervais), is a man who lives in a world where nobody has ever told a lie. However, Mark finds out that he has the ability to tell a lie. More information is to be released about the plot. [1]

In March 2008, Ricky Gervais started a blog on his website (see link below) which includes regular updates on the process of making the film and cast additions. Gervais is also adding 'behind the scenes' video clips and has also announced that Steven Merchant and Shaun Williamson are going to have cameos in the film.
