Thiruvenkadu is the location of a famous Navagraha temple in Tamil Nadu. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and the planet Mercury (one of the nine Navagrahas) is also worshipped here. The temple is located close to the Vaitheeswaran Temple (about 14 kilometers)
