[edit] Various reunion projects (1984-1996)

Though not a proper reunion, a project credited to "Phil Lynott & Gary Moore" which featured Brian Downey on drums put out a single called "Out in the Fields" in 1985. However, proper reunions would not happen until Lynott himself died since a band without him in it could never be considered a true form of Thin Lizzy. After this, various projects appeared presenting themselves as tributes to Phil and to Thin Lizzy. Classic Thin Lizzy members Scott Gorham and Brian Downey appeared in all of these.

Musicians from the original (1969-1984) incarnation of the band are listed in bold.

[edit] The reformed Thin Lizzy (1996-present)

In 1996 John Sykes decided to put together a fully reformed Thin Lizzy that would survive as a long term project rather than a brief set of reunion concerts. Scott Gorham has been a part of this, and initially Darren Wharton and Brian Downey were, in a lineup identical to the 1994 shows. However both have left the band, reducing the credibility of the lineups.

Musicians from the original (1969-1984) incarnation of the band are listed in bold.
