Thierry Gathuessi (born April 17, 1982 in Bafoussam, Cameroon) is a Cameroonian footballer, currently playing for Scottish Premier League club Hibernian. He has been capped once at full international level for Cameroon[1].
Gathuessi joined Hibs from FC Sète in July 2007 following a successful trial period with the club[1]. He scored his first goal for Hibs in a 3-2 win over defending SPL champions Celtic.
Due to his aggressive playing style, many of the Hibs fans refer to him as "Hong Kong Thierry" after cartoon character Hong Kong Phooey
