[edit] rehashing of characters?

has anyone noticed that ryo looks like shinji and that blonde scientist resembles the one from evangelion? does anyone notice any other similarities between this anime and NGE?

Yes, there's definately a resemblance between Jennifer Portman and Ritsuko Akagi from NGE. However, I think Ryo looks more like Yuki from Fruits Basket than Shinji from NGE. I am just beginning the series, but I am willing to bet that there are other similarities, and if so, we should creat a section on it. --Dormous 23:16, 20 September 2006 (UTC)

Well, if you want to go by character, Jennifer is pretty much Saori Shikijo of Mahoromatic who drinks more and is slightly less sexual towards the children. Either way, it's really not worth a section though. Stock characters are hardly anything new in anime and This Ugly Yet Beautiful World is chalk full of them.--208.62.9.226 (talk) 05:22, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
