[edit] Third person objective
Would I be correct in saying that the thrid person objective is also third person central? Can anyone confirm this? Mathwhiz 29 01:55, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
I object to calling Lemony Snicket and J.K. Rowling third person omniscient narrators. Siorale (talk) 07:29, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
- I agree with you about J.K. Rowling. The only time we are in the head of anyone besides Harry is Voldemort, and only due to the connection via the Horcrux in the 7th book.OUChevelleSS (talk) 00:04, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
- This is not correct: at the beginning of some of the Harry Potter Parts (not all), a scene is describited, in which Harry does not show up at all. In Book 6 it's the scene in which Snape speaks with the two Black sisters (just one example). But most of the time, by J.K. Rowling it is objectiv or limited third-person narrator!
The narrator of Lemony Snicket novels is not a third person narrator, but a character in the novel (who'se name is Lemony Snicket). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.232.194.229 (talk) 07:38, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Third person, limited
Why has the third person limited section been removed and replaced with an "expand section" message? The old version seemed fine to me. The message point to this talk page, but there's nothing here about it. 74.14.173.37 (talk) 09:53, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Question
Does this really need references or was that tag put there because of a bot of some sort? Not meant to be sarcastic; it's really an honest question. Sake neko (talk) 06:32, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
