I'm not saying much at the moment.
[edit] Bouzouki
I'm not totally happy with the picture of your Bouzouki. As you probably know it is not an actual trichordo, but a tetrachordo stringed with six strings. I know this practice is rather common, but for the article we should use a picture of an actual trichordo bouzouki. Iago4096 18:13, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
- You are mistaken! My bouzouki is very definitely a trichordo, the neck is not wide enough for eight strings. The reason it has eight tuners is that it is a replica of a bouzouki made for Markos Vamvakaris that had eight tuners. This was a common practise among luthiers in the 30s, they used mandolin tuners as they could not get tuners in sets of three. The Real Walrus 22:54, 24 September 2006 (UTC)

- Well, one lives and learns, I guess. Thank you for the clarification! :-) Iago4096 19:15, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
