[edit] Bill Hicks

Hey, nice addition to the Bill Hicks entry. But do you have a reference for the story about what he said to his mother? Elijya 17:00, 30 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Radioactive Cauliflower

A tag has been placed on Radioactive Cauliflower, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be a biographical account about a person, group of people, or band, but it does not indicate how or why he/she/they is/are notable. If you can indicate why Radioactive Cauliflower is really notable, I advise you to edit the article promptly, and also put a note on Talk:Radioactive Cauliflower. Any admin should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles. You might also want to read our general biography criteria. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that admins should wait a while for you to assert his/her/their notability, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and then immediately add such an assertion. It is also a very good idea to add citations from reliable sources to ensure that your article will be verifiable. --  Netsnipe  (Talk)  17:40, 27 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Firefall picture

Hi,

We are not allowed to grab pictures from around the web and upload them to Wikipedia, as you did with Image:Firefall.jpg, and we are especially not allowed to falsely mark them up with a public domain tag, as you did. I changed the incorrect public domain tag to "somewebsite" and the image will be deleted within a week. Please only upload photos that you took yourself and which you are donating to the public domain or releasing under the GFDL; or photos from other sources that are provably in one of those two categories. [edit] Speedy deletion of Image:Firefall.jpg

A tag has been placed on Image:Firefall.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image with an unknown source or an unknown copyright status which has been tagged as such for more than 7 days, and it still lacks the necessary information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
