This is a sample of the Sebald Code: Character 1: (ringing a bell) I love eating prunes. They're so squishy, chewy, and delicious. I am always happy when I eat yummy prunes, unless they get trapped between my teeth. Character 2: (nodding in agreement) Me too. When that happens I must send for my husband, who can usually-if he's not busy-help get them unstuck. Character 1: (taking out a notebook and pen) Where does your husband live? Character 2: With me, at Chewy Gum Lane, across from that prune museum we visited once. (The two characters ring a bell again.)

[edit] Strange Creatures

I love to read series. I've read Harry Potter, Septimus Heap, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Inheritance Trilogy, and I'm fixing to read The Hobbit, and after that, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy. Because I love to read so much, I also love to authorize stories. I started out writing short stories. Then I started righting actual books, except that it was just a big clump (there were chapters, plus I didn't know what paragraphs were at the time). Then I started out writing chapter books. Although the chapters were really short and I didn't use paragraphs. But my too latest story, Strange Creatures, is full of long chapters and lots of paragraphs! I'm really happy about that! So is my mom! :) Maybe next time I'll write what Strange Creatures is about. Bye!
