The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (Musical) is an new musical based on the 1990's hit television show, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.


Robbie Jabrielle (a young actor, singer, comedian, and playwrite from Racine, WI) will be working on the Book and Lyrics.

Cast: William "Will" Smith, Phillip Banks, Vivian Banks, Hilary Banks, Carlton Banks, Ashley Banks, Geoffrey, Vy Smith, Trevor Collins, Jazz, Walter "Whitey" Firth, Magret Frith, and Kellogg Leaberbaum.


Plot: [Act One] 1991- After getting into a huge fight at a play ground, Will is sent to live with his Aunt Vivian, a college professor at UCLA, her husband Phillip, a wealthy lawyer, in a Bel-Air Mansion. On his arrival, Will meets Geoffrey, the Bank's wise cracking butler. He is then introduced to the Banks children: Hilary, Carlton, and Ashley. When Will has time to relax, Ashley brings him a welcome gift. She tells Will that art is the only thing that she is great at. Will teaches Ashley how to rap for she can be great at two things than one. Later that eveing, Phillip's party guest arrive: Lawyers and Judges. Phillip is offered a membership at a Counrty Club. Hilary has the hots for her father's intern, Trevor. The two meet and fall in love. Will finally enters the party dressed inappropriately, yet being the center of attention. Trying to ignore Will, Vivian ask Ashley to say grace. Ashley bows her head and begins to rap, startling her parents and their guest. A few days later, Will starts his first day at Bel-Air Academy. Carlton introduces Will to his classmates. Carlton and Kellogg Leaberbaum, the class president, gives will a tour of the Academy. Will is not interested in what Carlton and Kellogg have to say, so he wonders off to hook up with a girl.

Hilary, now serious with Trevor, is at the mall to find a dress for her date. Her friend arrive to wish her good luck and help her find the perfect dress. Later that evening, she meets Trevor at a nice Bel-Air restuarant. He tells her that he has a suprise for her, but she has to watch the News to see it.

Will sneaks out to a pool hall to have a little fun. He then meets Jazz. He challenges a hustler then loses all of his money. Carlton tells Phillip that Will snuck out. Phillip, Geoffrey and Carlton rushes to the pool hall in the nic-of-tim (Will is getting roughed up for not have enough money). Phil then challeges to Hustler, but loses. The Hustler then makes another challenge. Phillip accepts, then ask Geoffrey to bring out his secret weapon, a pool stick named Luiselle. Phillip beats the hustler and wins the money. Phillip has an emotional conversation with Will. When they return home, Will's mother, Vy, had made a suprise visit. She misses Will and wants him come back home to Philly. Hilary walks in wearing a wedding dress and announces the Trevor has a suprise for her. She turn on the tv to see Trevor's suprise. He is going to bungie jump while purposing to Hilary. (Not scene) Before Trevor can purpose to Hilary, he falls to his death. Jazz tries find an opportunity to hit on Hilary. Act one ends with a big Operetta dealing with Will's decision and Hilary's dead boyfriend. When the curtain closes, Phillip throws Jazz out the mansion.

[Act Two] As the curtains open, Geoffrey enters and starts cleaning. He then begins to sigh. He is sad because the family never invite him to anything. To take his mind off of his difficult decision, Will decides to go to a house party at Jazz's new apartment. Phillip and Vivian ask Will to take Hilary. Before Will leaves, Carlton rushes in to ask Will to perform with him at the Country Club. Will refuses to perform after seeing that Carlton is performing "It's Not Unusual". At the house party, Will, Hilary and Jazz try to have a good time until a guy begins to be rude to Hilary. Jazz steps in to protect Hilary. Hilary then falls in love with Jazz for being so courageous. At the country club, The Banks family gets accepted. Whitey tells Phillip that he is happy that Will's not there to ruin their party. Carlton takes the stage and begins to sing. Then Will (wearing a tuxedo with a baseball cap and sneakers) walks in and joins Carlton on stage. Whitey gets up set and kick Will out. Phillip, Vivian, and the rest of the party stand up for Will. Phillip then tells Will to "hit it, home-slice". Hip-hop music begin to play and will starts to dance. Everyone at the party joins in on the fun, even Whitey!
