The Thessaloniki Documentary Festival is a film festival specialising in documentary films which takes place in Thessaloniki and is affiliated with the International Thessaloniki Film Festival.

The Thessaloniki Documentary Festival was launched in March 1999 and was inspired by Dimitri Eipides.

The main programme focuses on documentaries that explore the social and cultural developments in the world. Films of the main programme are candidates for the FIPRESCI award and also the Audience Awards.
