thephpbible is a fully featured open source solution for churches or organizations, it allows webdesigners to quickly and easily integrate a simple KJV Bible into their church or organizations web site. This application allows browsing of the Bible or searching, and more, as described on thephpbible.com.

The next version of thephpbible is version 2.0, and has been renamed to thephpbible2. thephpbible2 is currently (February 2006) in beta testing stage, and the planned final release date is March 2006. thephpbible team plans to continue with this new naming convention. A much improved and feature-filled new version of the software is anticipated to be released in late 2006.
