Theotokos Samarska

Theotokos Samarska (Ukrainian: Самарська ікона Пресвятої Богородиці) - a Christian Orthodox icon of Zaporozhian Cossacks, especially honoured in Dnieper Ukraine region.
Thetokos Samarska firstly appeared as honoured icon in 1763 in the Church of Saint Nicholas in Novi Kodaky (present Dnipropetrovsk).[1]
April 24 is the official veneration day of the icon.
