Theodore Hoyle

Theodore Hind Hoyle was a first class cricketer who played one game for Yorkshire County Cricket Club against Northamptonshire CCC at Bramall Lane in 1919. He also appeared for Yorkshire Seconds in the same year and Yorkshire Council in 1920.
A wicket keeper, he took a catch and was dismissed, for 7 and a duck, by Claude Woolley. He stumped Davies off the bowling of Wilfred Rhodes to bring Yorkshire victory by 74 runs.
He was born on March 19, 1884 in Halifax, Yorkshire and died on June 2, 1953 in Hull.
