The Theatre Royal in Plymouth is a major producing and receiving house consisting of a large main auditorium housing west end musicals, opera and ballet and also a smaller experimental theatre called 'The Drum'.

TR2 (Theatre Royal 2) is a relatively new drama productions studio it also contains a large workshop, which makes various stage items and props, as well as lighting equipment.
