Several young, idealistic law school students attend a prestigious Boston institution and decide to open a "Neighborhood Law Office" in a poor area to provide much-needed legal aid to the impoverished who would otherwise be deprived of access to the courts. As these young students have not yet been admitted to the bar they require the help and supervision of an experienced, licensed attorney, which is provided by David Barrett, an established Boston lawyer.
