The Write Side Up is a magazine that is available both online and in print. It was founded by C.W. Smith, and the first issue was released in January of 2006. The magazine is released quarterly (January, April, July, and October) and their plans are to have a "Best Of" issue at the end of each year. It features established, up-and-coming, and completely unknown authors alike. The Write Side Up is listed in the Library of Congress, in print ISSN 1930-0247, and the on-line ISSN 1930-0255.
As of December 2007, Richard Osgood and Frank Sullivan took over the reins of the magazine. They hope to take the magazine to new heights while still bringing the readers of the magazine some of the best new and established authors from around the world.
