The Vision of the Anointed
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Vision of the Anointed is a book by political columnist Thomas Sowell challenging people Sowell calls "Teflon prophets" who predict a variety of future social, economic, or environmental problems unless countered with massive government intervention.
Sowell shows that these self described thinkers, writers, and activists continue to be revered by influential corners of political bias even in the face of evidence disproving their positions. He reveals them as promoters of a worldview concocted out of fantasy impervious to any real-world considerations.
