The Unholy Alliance was the heel tag team of Mikey Whipwreck & Yoshihiro Tajiri in ECW. They were managed by The Sinister Minister.
[edit] Career
Mikey & Tajiri became tag team partners soon after Tajiri was kicked out of The Network. On August 25, 2000, Mikey Whipwreck & Tajiri won a one-night tournament to be crowned new ECW Tag Team champions (Justin Credible "dropped" the belts so he could face Tommy Dreamer for the ECW Title) when they defeated Tommy Dreamer & Jerry Lynn and Simon Diamond & Johnny Swinger in a 3-way match in the finals. But they lost the titles to Full Blooded Italians (Little Guido & Tony Mamaluke). At both ECW Anarchy Rulz 2000 & ECW November to Remember 2000, the Unholy Alliance failed to recapture the title from the FBI. On January 7, 2001, Yoshihiro Tajiri & Mikey Whipwreck beat Kid Kash & Super Crazy and The FBI in a 3-WAY dance at ECW Guilty as Charged 2001 to become #1 condenters to Danny Doring & Roadkill's ECW Tag Team Titles. The match never did happen as ECW went bankrupt.
The Unholy Alliance reunited at ECW One Night Stand 2005 on June 12, 2005, when Mikey & the Sinister Minister managed Tajiri during his match with Super Crazy & Little Guido.
