The Trail Blazer

The Trail Blazer was a Pennsylvania Railroad passenger train operated between New York and Chicago. Inaugurated on July 28, 1939, the train was a cheaper coach alternative to the premier Broadway Limited using streamlined heavyweight rolling stock.
