The Stranger Left No Card is a British short film directed by Wendy Toye. Alan Badel plays the eponymous protagonist. The story, by Sidney Carroll, was later remade as Stranger In Town — an episode of television strand Tales of the Unexpected (also directed by Toye) — starring Derek Jacobi and Clive Swift. Suspenseful incidental music is provided by Muir Matheson, though the soundtrack is most remembered for the inclusion of Hugo Alfvén's Swedish Rhapsody.
