The Stalking Moon is a 1968 western film starring Gregory Peck and Eva Marie Saint. The movie is based on the novel of the same name by Theodore V. Olsen.

Sam Varner (Gregory Peck), a scout retiring from the U.S. army, agrees to escort Sarah Carver (Eva Marie Saint) and her half-breed son. She has been freed after ten years captivity among the Indians. However, the boy's Indian warrior father, Salvaje (Nathaniel Narcisco), will stop at nothing to get his son back.
