"The Senses" is a song from the animated cartoon series Animaniacs sung by Yakko, Wakko and Dot. The song is a listing of senses. The song begins with five physiological senses (sight, smell, hearing, touch, and taste) and a sixth sense, which, according to Dot, is used to understand Shirley MacLaine. At this point, Yakko says 'And now the other senses!' signalling a transition from the typical definition of 'senses' to other usage of 'senses'. The rest of the song is a list of other usage of 'sense' and homophones of 'sense' (cents / scents) and 'senses' (census).
[edit] Notes
- This song is loosely based on the Pasta Song.
