The Secret Order of the Gumm Street Girls is a book written by Elise Primavera, and is her first novel. It takes place in Sherbet, a mythical town with a candy shop, a pony stables, a carnival, ect. On Gumm Street, four girls reside. One is Franny- a girl who dreams of adventures, and looks up to Amelia Earhart and such. Pru is a scaredy cat who likes to read. Cat is a know it all girl who has ESP. And Ivy is a girl who has a seven year Jinx.
All three hate each other, but when Mr Staccato- their piano teacher- dies, it is up to them to join together to save the ruby red slippers from the Sister Of The Wicked Witch of the West- Cha Cha Staccato.
But Cha Cha sends them off to SPOZ too become servants to her nieces- the teens Cocoa and Bling Bling- they must set aside all differences to escape.
