The Rest cricket team

The Rest cricket team was an Indian first-class cricket team which took part in the annual Bombay Pentangular.[1] The team was founded by members of the Jewish and Buddhist communities in Bombay.

The Rest joined the Bombay tournament in 1937 but were never successful, the tournament being disbanded only eight years later.

  1. ^ The appellation "The Rest" has also been applied on an ad hoc basis to teams in a number of countries. For example, a combined Nottinghamshire and Yorkshire team played "The Rest" in England in 1883.
