The Recluse was the second single taken from the album The Ugly Organ by Cursive. It was released as a single in 2004. The album track "The Recluse" is backed with the exclusive non-album tracks "Once" and "Adapt".
The songs on this single and the songs from the Art Is Hard single were combined as the Art Is Hard/The Recluse picture disc.
