The Real Roxanne, born Adelaida Martinez, was a female hip hop rapper signed to Select Records. In the 1980s, she and Roxanne Shanté were engaged in the Roxanne Wars, a series of answer records inspired by U.T.F.O.'s hit song "Roxanne, Roxanne".
