The People's Revolutionary Strike Force

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"The People's Revolutionary Strike Force" are a fictional group of terrorists in the 1976 film, The Enforcer. They were based on the real-life Symbionese Liberation Army, the terrorist group known for the kidnapping of Patricia Hearst.

The terrorists in the film are portrayed as disgruntled Vietnam veterans, who demand a ransom, otherwise they plan to go on a rampage that will break San Francisco. The terrorists in the film are identified as: Wanda (Samantha Doane), Lalo (Michael Cavanaugh), Karl (Dick Durock), Tex (Ronald Manning), Henry Lee (Tim Burrus), Miki (Jocelyn Jones), and their leader Bobby Maxwell (DeVeren Bookwalter).

Unlike the last two predecessors, Scorpio and Lt. Neil Briggs, the leader of the group, Bobby Maxwell, has the striking sense to kill whoever he wants, when he wants, even his own friends or partners who get in his way to obtain his own selfish ambition, which makes him an equal and opposite rival to Dirty Harry. He is also one of the more unenthusiastic members of the Strike Force, along with Lalo, while the other members often remind they are doing their job "for the people".

Each character faces their fate throughout the entire film...

  • Miki- killed after Frank DiGeorgio fired one shot to her chest, and was then shot 3 times by Bobby to finish her off.
  • Henry Lee- arrested by Harry for possession of a rigged explosive.
  • Wanda- killed by Inspector Kate Moore.
  • Tex- drowned, after Harry used a high-powered water hose to get him out of the Alcatraz guard tower and send him plummeting to the bay.
  • Karl- killed by Harry.
  • Lalo- killed by Inspector Moore.
  • Bobby Maxwell- killed when Harry shoots the guard tower he is in at Alcatraz, with a M72 LAW rocket launcher.
