The Nokia Green Room is a music TV show aired on Channel 4 and sponsored by mobile phone manufacturer Nokia.
According to The Guardian the show began airing in April 2008 and comprises a live music format as well as a Big Brother - style setup where the guests are monitored in The Nokia Green Room via hidden cameras.
The show differs from other music show formats due to a lack of a presenter.
The show is broadcast weekly on Channel 4. Clips and extra content are available online from the Nokia Green Room website, as is further backstage coverage from resident music blogger Chris Neadham who interviews each act.
Bands that have appeared on the show so far include: Robyn, Shaggy, Sam Sparro, The Hoosiers, Guillemots, Late of the Pier, Ashlee Simpson, Kelly Rowland, The Feeling, Feeder, Shaznay Lewis, Wideboys, The Courteeners, David Jordan, Delays, Editors and Jonas Brothers
The programme is aired in an early afternoon slot on Sundays and is repeated in early evening on music channel [[The Hits]
