The Nave Choir

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Nave Choir of Chester Cathedral is the oldest established Cathedral voluntary choir in the United Kingdom. Its singers who come from all walks of life bringing with them varying levels of musical experience, rehearse together on Wednesday evenings and sing an evening service in the Chester Cathedral on Sundays. The Naves combine this commitment with regular concerts in the Cathedral and visits to other Cathedrals/venues. Under the direction of the Cathedral's second assistant organist, the choir continues to produce high standards and adds much to worship in Chester.
