The Moggs are an indie rock band from the San Francisco Bay Area of the United States. The duo met while auditioning for a Calvin Klein underwear commercial in 1995. Ever since, The Moggs have been known for their analog purity. The duo count Karp, Shellac, Unwound, Royal Trux, Jawbox and Sonic Youth as influences.^{[citation needed]}
