The Miracle Theater is a Christian-themed attraction located in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. It first opened its doors in 2006 after having bought the Louise Mandrell Theater, which had closed the previous year. Its show consists of a musical recreation of the life of Christ, though the initial act starts off during the creation story found in the book of Genesis. One of the show's main touting points is that its show features a large cast, which includes more than just actors. Present during several of the scenes are live animals such as horses, camels, sheep and even a donkey.
The nearly two-hour production is an original work by playwright, Linda Nell Cooper, Director of Theater Arts at Liberty University. The musical score is also original, written by composer, David Legg, also a graduate of Liberty University.
The Group took out an ad in USA Today, against comedian Kathy Griffin, for her remarks at the Emmys against God, and Jesus Christ
